Ann may have stated that most men in prison are from fatherless homes based on the statistic which I grant her is correct. But, (Big But - monkey) is it correct to say single moms produce more criminals than a traditional family of pa and ma. Please call Marilyn Van Sant.
I would ask Ann does she know how many sociopaths are in the group she was looking at. The reason is that a couple who had a sociopath as a child who caused anti-social behavior would most likely divorce leaving the child with the mom. Hence Ann's statistic would be correct but not a sign of what is causing the production of criminals. Yet, there is some data to suggest that a sociopath raised in a stable family of pa and ma in a stable society(?) is less of a harm to society though this is debatable.
So does being raised by a single ma result in more sociopaths?
Oh if any one interviews Ann, please ask her about Borderline Personality Disorder women having a greater tendency to produce more criminals with or without her husband?
Maybe when Ann completes her book tour, she will write a book about how to make Matt Lauer sweat. Ann's interview was excellent.
